According to Zacks, estimate was .40 so they nipped it. Big question is how do they see the Asian effect going forward. I was in AEIS last week and they seemed to have no direct exposure to Asia whatsoever, yet they were hit when earnings came out because AMAT's their biggest customer. (AMAT as you may know will suffer the Asian blues thru 1998). As the CEO of CMOS said they saw no dropoff in Asian sales, yet the true upshot of the Asian mess lies in whether CMOS' big customers are affected. Maybe the conference call will tell us more.
