The target militant in question was lying in a coma when the attack occurred. Under US operations in the long war in Yemen, any person with association with the targeted individual was fair game. If they want to find terrorists to kill, there should be plenty at the Ziv Medical Center in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights where Israeli commandos bring wounded jihadis in for treatment.
