He's not even a genuine certified meteorologist.

Anthony Watts - DeSmog

Anthony Watts studied Electrical Engineering and Meteorology at Purdue University, but according to correspondence between Purdue University and SourceWatch, he did not graduate. 1 2

Watts admits he is ” not a degreed climate scientist.” He formerly held an American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval. An important distinction: this is not the same as being ”AMS Certified,” as some sources have inaccurately claimed of Watts. Rather, the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval is a discontinued credential that does not require a bachelor’s or higher degree in atmospheric science or meteorology. The American Meteorological Society reserves its separate “AMS Certified” designation for its Certified Broadcast Meteorologists and Certified Consulting Meteorologists, and Watts was neither. 9 10 11 12
