While the economic indicators are up, Biden’s approval rating remains below 40 percent, per the survey. Around 38 percent of respondents said they approved of Biden’s overall performance, which is where his approval rating has been hovering over the past year. About 35 percent of respondents approved of how the president was handling the economy*, which the poll noted is about the same as the previous months. "Wall Street's gain, Main Street's pain!" People don't feel the strong GDP numbers. People don't feel the strong job creation numbers. What people feel are the high costs of living, created in large part by liberal economic policies. Maybe impressions will improve between now and November, but I doubt it. Brandon had all of 2023 to fix his image problem, but he still ended up futzing around without a clue as to where he is.
