And yet, Rat was compelled to pay for wars he opposed, as well as for subsidies to the purveyors of fossil fuels. The good news is that he wasn't forced to pay Trump's salary.

Tony Soprano believed in survival of the fittest and most brutal... so it was sinful to charge him property taxes on his nice home because he disbelieves and abhors rule of law?

Actually that would fit since Jefferson was a slave holder. And it would certainly fit the lazy assholes of the Confederacy who believed they were above labor and it was fine to old others in human bondage doing their work.
