Janice, Perhaps it was. Perhaps it was both. Maybe much of the media told us all those folk died of leukemia to impress upon us that they know how to spell it correctly. I know it made an impression on me. Re the Thomassons and our shot for the stars: It's just that they have so much clout, the series would be a sure success.
