Plse point out my personal attack(s)?

And of course the same beetles are ravaging Alberta for the same reason.

My previous post was factual information pointing out that the pine beetle infestation crisis is over in AB.
Take that as you may.
If you actually read all of that post I also mentioned that there are 2.4M acres of beetle kill to deal with in AB.
(Plse note my next post was about the worries of the AB firefighters about the upcoming fire season and lack of cohesive plan.)

I was a wet behind the ears kid fresh out of high school hitch hiking up the Island for work in 1973 when I witnessed my first clear cutting. It didn't take long even for a dolt like me to figure this isn't right. Point of agreement ? Sure.

I generally post links to articles that interest me and support my views. Is that a classic passive aggressive attack? Are different points of view not allowed here if done somewhat respectfully? That speaks more about you than me.

I come from farming families, agriculture has always been present in my life. My experiences in the rain forest and the horrible pulp mill were major influences in my life. My Dad encouraged me to progressive farming practices in my actual farming life. He stressed the value of soil. (He was a well decorated and respected agrologist in AB post WW2 fwiw) He encouraged windbreaks on our sandy soil-I quit counting trees after I had planted after 8000.
In my career in instrumentation in the patch/pipelines / petrochemicals monitoring processes and making sure they run safely and correctly is very beneficial to the environment. I have seen massive changes in how processes and emissions have improved since 1980.

I can sleep very well at night in regards to my treatment of Mother Earth whatever your opinion is.(My prostrate has the final say in my sleep habits unfortunately)
BTW I always stay out of the way when you and Red go at it. Not my style. Don't imagine things there.

And yes Red is a bit of a pal. I've met him and he's done me a few solids in real life.
