Cube's FAQ about Chelsea-1................................................

c-cube.com

What is the cost to C-Cube/Intel-enable PC products?

The Chelsea-I daughtercard design consists of only a ZiVA chip and 2MB of DRAM. ZiVA is available in quantities of 10,000 at $20 per unit. The Intel740 bill of materials is priced around $35 in 10,000 unit quantities. Costs combined, for less than $70, OEMs can now add best-of-breed 2D/3D graphics and best-of-breed hardware DVD.
