Norma Anderson wants to deny a US citizen his constitutional right to due process.
That's the whole point with the 14th amendment. There is no explicit "due process" defined when it comes to determining who is an insurrectionist.

By the way, if Trump had a competent legal team instead of one that continuously sucks his wee-wee, they could argue that it's better to err on the side of consistency when it comes to determining who is an insurrectionist, rather than have 50 standards defined by 50 states.

And the safest way to maintain consistency is to err on the side of caution and not just let anyone define what an insurrectionist is based on whims.

Of course, Trump's legal team won't do that. Instead, they'll just keep maintaining that this is all a wItCh hUnT, that Colorado is politically-motivated (and Trump isn't?), and that Trump is essentially above the law.

How do I know? Because I can observe and report ...
