Chile, like every other country, is over populating and using poor management of natural resources. If you stand in front of a train, don't be surprised if the train wins. Your theory is that by standing in front of a train and doing a dance, the train will then miraculously stop. It won't. You can't stop erosion, you can't stop weather, you can't stop fires. You certainly can't stop stupid people from building homes where they shouldn't. Case in point...California.
