There's an egg shortage because the ongoing bird flu outbreak reduced the number of egg-laying chickens.
How about the rising cost of higher education? What viral outbreak contributed to that?

How about rising rent costs all across America? Rising real estate prices? Was that due to some sort of temporary stressor that should eventually go away?

How about the rising costs of even owning and maintaining a car?

Gas and electricity?

Child care?

It's not just about the eggs ...
