Eric, Why can't we do it here? Golly Eric, you tell me! California is a one-party state. The Democrats have a supermajority in Sacramento. There should be NO excuses anymore for our lack of high-speed rail. None at all. Every single roadblock should be lifted, every single problem with funding should be solved with more taxes, every single NIMBY should be told to take a hike, etc. etc. The only answer is sheer incompetence.
