The street is looking for a correction in April. If our Machiavellian friends at the Fed had their act together, they would announce a rate increase just about the time people are selling to pay their income taxes, create a selling frenzy, and collect more taxes that way. Hmmm.. if the brokerages had their act together, they'd short everything in sight, have their traders push the bond down and interest rates up to create a selling frenzy, and collect profits at the bottom.....Hmmmm.....sounds like last April, doesn't it? Hmmmm...

You sound sane to me, but then I wonder if we are King Lear and the Fool out on the heath in the middle of the storm.

Happily, bank accounts insured by the FDIC are available to us as they were not to King Lear. Although I continue to plunge blindly into bearish arrangements.
