Mongo, while I agree with you, I also believe you are missing a very huge reason why the GQP is obstructing the bill. It's not just because Trump told them to. It's because they don't trust Brandon at all. Even if the bill passed and the border is shut down, most people think that Brandon will not follow the spirit of the law. They think that Brandon will do whatever it takes to sneak migrants across the border and continue the wave of illegal immigration. Trump has a 35 point advantage over Brandon on this particular issue. There are signs that Brandon finally "gets it," but it's too little too late.
