satellite.nikkei.co.jp East Asian States Eye Local Currency Trade Settlement SINGAPORE (Nikkei)- Central bank governors from 10 Asian economies, excluding Japan, agreed Saturday at a meeting in Bali to form a task force to consider ways to settle trade in Asian currencies rather than U.S. dollars. The move is designed to reduce reliance on the dollar and make the economies less vulnerable to forex fluctuations.
