When my car is in the garage it's charged up to 80% normally after a few hours being back home.

If your gas car is near empty you are out of luck if the power is out at your gas stations.

Since I have PV's and lots of storage at my home the grid is irrelevant if I drive 100 miles from home and back.

200 plus miles to play with.

No off property energy required.

Can you imagine the gas lines at the few gas stations that might, might be operating?

And until they rapidly run out of gas...
