Yep. A good summary.

I remember conversations with someone who is a libertarian, about Donald Trump’s election campaign back in 2016. He told me, basically, that the Republican Party, by picking Trump as the candidate, is engaging in an act of self destruction. I think that person thought that Trump’s performance as President would be so embarrassing that very few people would chose to vote for Republicans for many years to come.

My guess is - that person still thinks the same about Trump - the - current - candidate. I’ll need to find an opportunity to ask him about the Democrats - aren’t they worried about Biden as a president - and a candidate?

Anyway… Biden’s handling of the Hamas crisis may yet cost us a valuable friend and partner - Israel. I don’t think they’d ever take any positions against the interests of the US - but… Biden’s admin’s silliness in handling the current crisis may make them realize that they must have some daylight between themselves - and us.

They worry what Rashida Talib may say??
