Ukrainian civilians hate Russian missile strikes, I assure you, and so do Russians with Ukrainian relatives/ roots. I can understand Vlad, the war is about Ukraine’s NATO membership. Yes Putin said Russian and US intelligence still play spy games and the war is about US counterpart getting money from congress as well as the title of this thread.

My friend’s mom hated Vlad. She recently passed away. She lived in Moscow region/Moscow itself and had a US Green card through my friend. She hated the wars and anti former soviet countries sentiment. My brother and I dislike him for being ex KGB, my brother stopped going to Russia for Summer vacations and in fear of prosecution since he has a British passport. I dislike him for killing his competitor Nemtsov, whom I liked. Russia is feeling sanctions. Yeah they found a way around, but they are feeling the sanctions and the war. My niece felt ashamed to be Russian and wrote a poem about it. She is more British than Russian. I’d say kids here lack independent thinking though. Me and my brother understand why Putin had to do what he had to do. Had to draw a red line for NATO expansion.

I am very disconnected from Russia though, I have no idea what is going on.
