Yes, there are inspectors who go to far. Usually their new and feel they have to be "tough." It's human nature to make mistakes. I've had them call me on shit that was stupid.

But that's not how you handle it. "You WILL NOT INFRINGE MY RIGHTS!" sheech. Stupid.

There are ways to appeal decisions or hire someone with a history who knows how to rectify the situation.

Most inspectors are well meaning and actually want to help you if you are civil to them.

The alternative is having a hazardous waste company set up next door or some similar horror. Buildings built by charlatans falling down.
