Doesn’t really matter if you die from cold and hunger when your home is destroyed or by direct hit. I go to church with Ukrainian immigrants from Kyiv, and they are extremely upset about this war destroying their country. They side with Ukrainian version of history. My dad was from Rostov, a nearby city. Grand daddy of pocket thieves in Soviet Union, Odessa, Ukraine was the mom hehe. Odessa is also famous for its great sense of humor, mainly from its Jewish population. I think it’s fair to say the Jewish population left Odessa almost entirely.
