John, AKRN had all the technical attributes of an impending move. 13, 8, 8 stochastcs and 3 day RSI breakouts coupled with a strong uptrend in the 2, 1, 2 SMI and proper MA activity. OBV broke out and the short-term CCI went ballistic. Long-term indicators showed just the right level of overbought that gave the demand side of the supply/demand dynamics the edge. Bollinger Bands were "supportive". The price chart formations were bullish. Optimal MA/MLR crossovers were in progress. In general, the technical profile was obvious. RECY will very likely base out in the 5 7/8 to 6 1/4 range while it resolves its current MA status. Once things settle out there, I'll be able to make a better judgement on its eventual direction.
