You write like a half ignorant person. The 'president as officer' issue has been debated since the 14th was adopted in 1868. But somehow you think Trump invented it. There was some kind of notation in a SC decision years ago that said the president is not an officer. The logic is that the president and congress appoint officers. The text is very specific. This forthcoming decision hopefully will officially settle the issue. Calling the issue stupid talk and some kind of subversion of the constitution is in essence a subversion of the constitution.
