Road tax. Oh yes, forgot about that, we have those too. Probably a bit more then the USA, and depends on the type of vehicle.

Then there is the 20% VAT tax on top of everything, including the tax. i.e you have to pay a 20% tax on any tax you pay.

It's one of those European things. Helps keep the government wheels and cogs turning smoothly I understand.
