Hello Brian, In the Read-Rite Conference call in January, Mr. Yansouni (Chairman) mentioned the Optical Winchester technology. From my notes: "Mentioned Optically enhanced winchester technology, have a headstart in this program and are building competency." Both Read-Rite and APM are known to be working with Seagate. Read-Rite tends to talk openly about it, APM does not. I can't draw any conclusions from the Seagate release except that it is very forward looking. It is a long way to revenue shipments in my opinion. Regards, Dave Chanoux
