Roger, you rode ZITL for 30 points! I guess you don't care about paper losses. I certainly do not disagree with your point that TAVA's price will return to fundamental value and that that value could be low to worthless. But I don't understand why one would establish a short position when there is the high likelihood that it will be a paper loss for some time. Shouldn't one wait to try to catch a top or ride a down trend. At this point there is nothing in the TAVA's move that makes the stock look tired -- just the opposite.

Anyway, I'm not a TAVA fanatic and I certainly don't want spat with you on this one. I respect your opinion, but I'm staying long awhile.

In any event, today's action in the internet stocks shows that the hot money is moving on. AOL has peaked and my short in XCIT is making money. Established a short in MU and moaning about not following you into CTXS.

I suspect you had a good day.

Best wishes, Kip

Roger

Off Topic:

A particular oil co. just announced a 10-1 reverse split to be followed by a 20-1 regular split. Besides ripping off the current shareholders by diluting their holding, what is the company up to and how else are they going to put it to the shareholders?

Roger, your shorting TPRO doesn't make sense to me either. I listened in on the conference call today and things seem to be coming along nicely. Only fly in the ointment is that companies are not signing up to yk2 work as soon as TAVA believes they need to if the work is to be done by 2000. But, and this is a big but, TAVA is getting YK2 work, which is quite unlike ZITL where all they had was hopes.

What's murky is whether TAVA will be able to pull of their plan of bootstrapping their YK2 customers into regular customers. I'm long TAVA (the symbol changes tomorrow) and enjoying the ride.
