It's not so much specific chipsets as it is ironing out all the bugs in Windows 12 to work on generic ARM chipsets. The advantage Qualcomm has in this field is tailoring the AI processing on Snapdragons for Windows 12. Others including ARM will have different setups for this important new Windows feature.

Exclusivity is not a real big deal. What's most disturbing is always taking on the early grunge work and still getting beaten up by all the rest even when they gain as much as us in these endeavours.

A little respect would be nice but that doesn't seem to be the corporate tech way of "us vs them".

ARM, Intel, AMD and Nvidia would have just as much interest in working with Microsoft and enabling Copilots on their hardware and it's hard to believe exclusivity extends into this realm.

What's seems most important this time around is there be no hiccups in anyone's launch hardware and Qualcomm should be advantaged within this area.
