Bonefish,
But they will vote for trump because they trust him to straighten out the mess Biden has created. And they know he's the best one to do it.
I'll give Trump a lot of credit for the following:

1) He was right about China becoming a geopolitical adversary before the rest of the establishment recognized it.

2) He was ahead of his time in the current trend toward "reshoring" manufacturing.

3) He was right about the open border, despite all of the attempts by Brandon (and his "border czar" Brenda) to gaslight the issue away.

4) Most importantly, he is converting the GOP into the party of lesser educated working-class Americans, and he is exposing the Democrats as the party of rich, woke, overeducated elitists. This is an important shift in the political divide between the Republicans and the Democrats, and it's on the order of the so-called "Great Party Switch" of the 1960's and 1970's.

The problem is that Trump is killing himself with hubris on a scale that is 10X greater than what killed Hillary. That's what will likely lead to Trump's eventual downfall.

But the political shift that he created will never be undone.
