Oddly enough, I am designing a small "solar ready" project at the moment, maybe implementation this year. Possible hydro backup, I like wind but the property is located in a wooded valley, so not looking at wind at the moment. Got a diesel backup. The figures I am referring too in the last post refer to the recent big wind farm installations in Scotland and England. I glanced at a few newspaper headlines last year saying all these big projects had cost overruns and have failed to deliver to expectations. I will be looking at that.
