The Southern Highlands were a magnificent sight when driving up to Scotland. Sadly badly spoiled now with windmills plastered all over the place. It will be trade off, balancing Windmills with other factors, tourism, chopping up the birds. People seem to be either for or against, trade off is the better way to go as we learn more. Who knows, designs may change that fit in better with the skyline, and are kinder to the wildlife. Some do still burn peat.
