WPR, All I know is that there are some very sophisticated investors, with great track records that are very short this stock. One or more 'short only' research firms - that cater to the hedge fund community (to help generate ideas) has a strong sell on the stock. These analysts are very knowledgeable from both the scientific and the financial 'street smart' end.

From what I know they are basing this recommendation on the fact that Redux had approx. 6 million prescriptions written. They are estimating that as many as 1/3 of the users may have some sort of heart valve problem. Therefore there could be 2 million lawsuits against AHP and IPIC. That is more liability than IPIC could handle and they would be forced into bankruptcy.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck!
