off topic O.K. Is the interest you pay on a margin account deductable? Form 4952 states that investment interest does not include interest that is from a "passive activity". That is defined as any business activity in which you do not materially participate. I feel that stock ownership is an active investment. So what's the answer? Does anyone know for sure?

Humbly report, Tim, one more thing that just hit me regarding the CC, compared to the others I've listened to, is about the "home town boy kinda' tellin' it like it is" feel of it, without hardly any excitement. The impression it left me with, was the realization that our guys have given this speech before - to their equals - with success. They're at home with it, I think, 'cause it ain't just a spiel for them, it's day by day life. I "believed" them. Svejk (GL-15 applies: digiserve.com ;-) P.S. 'Course I could be DEAD wrong - again!
