When Russia put troops on the border of Ukraine at the same time as Biden said he'd pull out of Afghanistan, I went from being a so-so supporter to pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I didn't think he had it in him.

Later, the generals said they advised against leaving. It's their job to advise, but then follow his orders once given. They failed miserably.

Imagine the US helping Ukraine and being at war in Afghanistan at the same time. No other president in modern history could have ended the war and take all the flak. They all worry about polls. The press beat him, Congress beat him, the polling companies beat him and he was right.

Biden is my president and I'm all in. He could have waited and then acted surprised (like Bush after 9/11 when the system was blinking red and he waited) but he's proactive.
