I generally agree, interesting stats. My only comment would be about this... After WW2 the USA was streets ahead of anyone in technology and manufacturing. The seeds had been sown of it's demise though and this is what Deming (USA) spent a good deal of time to try and fix. How much of this success was due to importing Nazi scientists and how much has this contributed to the rise of Fascism in the U.S.? I haven't studied this issue well enough to pass judgement, but I've read enough to have a concern.
