from the "wish I'd said that" department---

Happened to get a mailing today from REFR with an enclosure from the "Acker Letter" about REFR.

It said, in part "...It seems reasonable to theorize that the shorts ...have been doing and effective and profitable job with this stock. ... (this company) can't be held hostage by "for-profit skeptics" indefinitely. A well-financed thumb placed in a figurative dike may stem the tide of realistic awareness and enthusiasm for a period of time, but should successful commercialization become a profitable reality ... that dike of disinterest/disgust could erupt in a swell of enthusiasm and it could be REFR and its stockholders who present the shorts with a finger -- and it won't be the thumb."

sounds good to me :)
