Greta abandons Global Warming for Palestine

Greta Thunberg spotted in Glasgow as she joins Scots protestors in city streets

She joined thousands marching for a ceasefire in Gaza

CLIMATE activist Greta Thunberg joined thousands in a pro-Palestine march to the Scottish Labour conference.

The eco-warrior, 21, was spotted among the throngs waving the embattled nation’s flag on the protest to the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow.

She had earlier been pictured yards from statue of the party’s late former leader and First Minister Donald Dewar.

Roz Foyer, head of the Scottish Trade Union Congress, was among those who spoke at the rally.

She said: “I addressed the Scottish Labour Party Conference and gave a very clear message that the trade union movement will not stand by in silence and watch genocide take place.”

Thunberg wore a red jacket and carried a yellow umbrella as she walked among the masses heading for the conference to protest over Labour’s stance on a Gaza ceasefire.

She has ties to the city and was among those who took part in COP26 environmental protests three years ago.
