I don't know. My expertise is in semiconductors and technology. I figure there are too many experts in the oil and shale regions that have generations of experience to even try to compete with them.

Add in the political part where here in Kalifornia with the governator in charge before he called his legislators "girly men", NG was seen as a clean, reliable source of fuel and the state converted many of its vehicles to run on it... They also wanted us to have "fuel cells" powered by NG in large factories and homes rather than diesel generators... before the global warming lobby put a stake in that idea.

Today we haze the far left pushing the leftist Newsom to ban fracking, NG in our homes and convert cities to bicycle lanes. Even if carbon is discovered to be good for the planet because plants breath it to make clean oxygen... the lunatic fringe here hate anything to do with a profitable energy industry.

It seems the bet would be if you think carbon emission science is a fraud or real...

Bought a starter position in BOIL this am, nice pop today. Somewhere in here is the lowest price we will ever see in our lifetimes for NG. There is already more than enough LNG plants approved and being built. Biden put a hold on new ones but from my figuring the US doesnt want anymore as LNG will become very expensive already. Side note here in Az I pay almost $2 a therm, which is a weird measurement but it works out to $20/ thousand 10X the current market price unless my math is wrong lol. I cant figure out how they set the rates here but the state has something to do with it. Makes pool heating costly lol
