RE: "Sparq -- A true Value to the Consumer"

Who are the Sparq Drive's consumers? Important question to be considered when trying to determine Sparq's potential market. It looks like a niche market product to me. So how big is this niche market -- multi-million or multi-billion?

Would be nice to see some meaningful discussion on this.

John

P.S.

Anyone read the SEG news?

>>I seriously want Syquest to reconsider their decision not to make SCSI versions, as I think they would absolutely fly out of the door even more than they are now. Also, Mac users tend to use greater amounts of discs (for all of the graphics, audio, and multimedia production that Macs are great for) , so the tie ratios would be higher. Syquest is hoping that Mac users will buy SyJet. Some do, but the absolute value that SparQ offers would be enough to make many Mac using Jaz owners switch over immediately.<<

I'm not a Mac user, but don't some of the new G3's utilize EIDE Hard
Drives? Is the SparQ a purely Win95/NT device?
