Respond to of 1572332 Hi T, I am glad you have managed to pull some information from conversations on the board. Even though it seems like one is talking to nutcases, a greater understanding is sometimes achieved. We all have our ways and means of doing things. Personally I would caution about letting ones emotions get caught up in things. Example, Have a look at some of my posts on Boris Johnson. I am retired. but from a minimum wage working mans POV Boris is evil incarcerated and a waster beyond redemption. Even well heeled Conservative voters detest him as he was supposed to be a Conservative Prime Minister, but then went the full Communist overnight when Covid hit and put most of them out of business. A few did very well. I am not saying anything about that either way. The important thing is even Boris is redeemable. He can have a change of heart, and become a new Boris overnight. Still keep his humongous wealth, be a "good" conservative politician, be detested by the working class, but become a real productive human being, That is a chance (imho) everyone has. We all flail at the constraints that hem us in, and we all have flaws. Far as I can tell, really famous "wonderous people" have the same constraints, same flaws, just the flaws are much bigger. There is no point getting annoyed at people. We are all just dumb clucks and often just can't help ourselves. Best we can do is try. This old Nixon interview says a lot really, about the elite, and how they struggle in their own way. In the space of being they live in. I was trying to find the video where he mentions the elites looking for "good causes" can't find it, but this is close. VIDEO As a follower of Deming, I can say Nixon got the purpose bit right. Why should I feel emotional about Boris? I can laugh at him, but anger not so. That rarely does much good. That's it really. I followed your links back to Clinton, so your historical perspective does have some depth to it after all. This came up in my Nixon search as well. It's mainly about Russia, VIDEO
