My current support of Trump has two prongs; 1. he did a good job, and 2. he is being unfairly persecuted. (I know you puke whenever anyone says he's being persecuted, but it's true, and you know it.) Are there others who might give the republicans a better shot at beating Biden? Probably. But that is moot now that Trump has won the nomination. I was a DeSantis guy when this cycle started. But he lost and probably does not have the charisma to win nationally. Trump did an excellent job as president and I hope he can win again. But at this point in time, it's probably a tossup.
