Good article, Wharfie, and thanks for copying-and-pasting the entire text, since the actual article is "freemium." The problem with that article is that it is preaching to the choir. Someone needs to explain why NATO still matters to American security. Someone needs to explain why our international alliances still matter, not just in Europe, but also in Asia/Pacifica, South America, the Middle East, and to an extent Africa. Someone needs to explain why mafia tactics, not just those practiced in broad daylight by PooTin, but also the tactics being advocated by Trump, reduce not only our own security but also that of the entire free world. And someone needs to hold the feet of the isolationists to the fire and make them prove to us that, if we withdrew from international geopolitics and focused inward, we would end up saving a lot of taxpayer money and end up stronger as a result.
