Yea, the problem with alphacharts is it doesn't give the flexibility to really customize the indicators to periods you want. You'll be very happy when you get some software. That will give you the opportunity to try all kinds of near stuff.

ORCL down 0.88 yesterday. The trend is neutral and it looks like a quick short (1-3 days tops). I hate trying to pick bottoms, wo looking for the buy signal as you suggest is the preferred method of entry. Waiting for the slow stochastic to hook up to about 66 or 67 from the current 55 level is the preferred method. I'm always tempted to try to predict a bottom--usually a losing proposition unless all the conditions are right on. Flat lower bollinger band on price with the price sitting on the lower band is a great way to go. Everything else is really difficult.
