It sometimes rains a bit in Scotland. I would normally use a clothes line to dry clothes, but not usually feasible.

This works great if you have a spare room where you can keep a clothes horse or two.

The only energy used is that to condense the water by refrigeration.

I also have a humidifier by the same company to keep the viruses at bay. With all the hoopla on viruses, surprised no one has mentioned it.
