An interesting factoid I came across by accident, exactly who was Alfred Russel Wallace? A biology big shot from the past seemingly. Up there with Darwin. Most famously, he had the revolutionary idea of evolution by natural selection entirely independently of Charles Darwin. & Charles Darwin was impressed with how much Wallace’s theory of natural selection matched his own: ‘He could not have made a better short abstract!
