I couldn't agree more that Wilson "did not come close to answering" Kecseg's questions about management. As he was speaking about a hundred red flags went up in my mind. His inarticulateness bothers me too; every utterance is littered with "uhs," "ahs," and other assorted stumbles.

But I don't think Mims misrepresented the situation there. He's been operating under these conditions for a very long time; my sense is that he's got pretty good radar as to what will pass (though naturally, with so much of his personal wealth riding on it, he may try to spin it a tad in our favor). I don't see any reason to doubt him. I see all kinds of reasons to doubt Wilson.

That it took them this long to put together a three-man conference during a gravity-defying downward spiral is nothing short of mind numbing.

I'll keep a small portion of my shares, just because I've invested so much goddam time in this thing and am loathe to admit I could have been so wrong, but I just don't trust the company any more. I used to. Trusting and believing in management is everything in this game.

Eric

Jimmy,
I think I owe you that beer...

I thought this was management's chance to put all the speculation to rest and come out charging. Boy, was I disappointed. Here is what I took away from the CC:

1. Bingo expansion has been a zero-sum business in 97. We started with 14 halls and now we have .... 14? Of the 35,000 bingo halls out there, why would they buy halls so close together that they would have to close one? This makes no sense to me.

2. I didn't realize that VGM's made up %70 of the profit. They had better wake up and smell the coffee! I don't understand how they can brush off the VGM situation. How do they expect people to invest for the long term when they don't have a long term plan.

My confidence is severely shaken after today.

Glad I don't have to pay the rent with BNGO stock....

Again, good call Jimmy.
