Your parents might have already had it when they were young. They might have had asymptomatic measles without knowing it. Either way that would give them resistance.

Mild or asymptomatic measles infections are probably very common among measles-immune persons exposed to measles cases and may be the most common manifestation of measles during outbreaks in highly immune populations.

A lot of people had asymptomatic covid... and never wore a mask unknowingly killing other people.

You know how horrible is to wear a mask... it's like being in a concentration camp... sigh...
