<<Who do you think started this war? NATO? Give me a break.>>

NATO are not the "nice guys" picture you are trying to paint here.

I am well aware of the fact that, as George Orwell quote indicates, the military are not supposed to be nice guys.

The question arises, and forget Putin, do the Russian people have to be concerned about NATO?

My answer is a very clear YES. Why do I say that?

Take Cuban Missile Crisis. That crisis was not really about Cuba. It was a "Tit for Tat" response by the Russians for Americans placing Nuclear Missiles in Turkey that could directly hit most of Russia. Very quietly Kennedy had them moved after the Russians did their climb down.

Then there is Gladio and the Bologna Station massacre. I am just using that as it is a well documented and researched incident.

The UK BBC did a documentary on Gladio. Some of which can be seen here,

So don't try and tell me it didn't all happen.

Therefore if NATO's own citizens need to be concerned about NATO, you can be sure the Russian citizens need to be concerned. That is probably why most of them strongly support Putin.

I could go on, there have been lots of stunts pulled in the past to get fence sitting countries into NATO. Having NATO right in Russia's face does not bode well for the world imho.

If Putin goes, I would say it's likely someone worse will be his replacement.

All this focus on one supposed bad guy doesn't wash with me. Not even for a moment. Get real.
