The money for Ukranian arms is spent building brand new tanks here for our army.
Not just new tanks, but also countermeasures for drone warfare.

Samo samo warfare engineering cycle.

- Someone invents the bow and arrow. Kingdoms respond with shields and armor designed to deflect arrows.

- Someone invents fully automatic firearms. Nations respond with trench warfare, then with tanks.

- Someone invents dropping bombs out of planes. Nations respond with fighter planes, anti-aircraft artillery, and the doctrine of air superiority. (The U.S. military is heavily dependent on air superiority, by the way, something that Ukraine doesn't enjoy.)

- Someone invents anti-air missiles. Nations respond with stealth technology and "Wild Weasel" operations.

- Someone invents anti-tank drones. Nations respond with ... ???

And now, almost a year and a half after its introduction, RuZZia finally has a confirmed kill on Mr. HIMARS:



It's likely that Mr. HIMARS broke down in the open and became a sitting duck. Unfortunately there were also some service crews probably trying to get Mr. HIMARS back up and running when the Iskander struck.

In other words, Mr. HIMARS lost his most useful ability, which is to "shoot-n-scoot."
