That was exactly my point. It doesn't make sense to devote resources to developing apps for the AVP with such low production numbers currently.

I think Apple could eventually get the price down to $1,000, but that'll take at least a couple of years. People already pay more than that for the top iPhones.

The trick is there will have to be some compelling reasons to own one, like a great interest in a metaverse AR/VR experience or some killer apps with experiences that cannot be easily duplicated elsewhere.

Apple certainly has a lot of money to throw at making the AVP a success, and I think its chances of succeeding are far greater than the Apple car ever had.
