At times it is difficult to decide when to say something and when not to say something.

Maybe the best approach is to gently suggest to look at it from a risk assessment point of view? This issue includes my extended family as well.

I remember my own parents telling what I should be doing/ not doing when I was a child. They were usually right, but at the the time perhaps if they said nothing and allowed me make my own decisions the outcome could have been happier? Same with authorities and authority figures, allow them some room to decide what is best for you. Just make sure they have the right data to accidently look at? -g-
