Deer Hunter,

Like you, I'm still long and is not going anywhere. If anything had changed it is that I now own more AIPN shares than before. Other permabulls may not be posting on SI actively but we are in constant contact with each other through other means.

Just curiously watching some of the naysayers untiring predictions of doom and gloom while the Dow continues to challenge its new highs day after day. The ASIAN contagion must have a true worsening effect on the overall US economy. NOT! The fact of the matter is according to "First Call and Zacks" among the companies that have reported earnings 76% of them have met or exceeded expectations. Doesn't look like a disaster to me.

Yes demand for oil may have been lessened as a result of ASIA's economic difficulties and milder winter condition in the country but for how long--6, 12, 18 months; who knows? All I know is that the world's population continues to swell and Detroit has no intention of stopping to manufacture more cars.

Nevertheless, if something good is to occur out of this, we may not have to wait for very long. No matter what others say, we are without a doubt closer to it today than 2-3 months ago. It's a no brainer.

Sycamore always betting for a brighter future!

DH,

Thanks for the info on AOL. I have poked around and am still trying to figure out how the AOL thread works. Purdue huh. Well we split the season. Are you from Indiana?, an engineer? Where do you call home now? By the way, I am a non-degreed engineer (elec.) from I.U., weird huh?
Good Luck,
Bob
